Yesterday our dear friends we've had since we moved here packed their last bags and headed to their new life in RI.
Our fam was very dismayed at the sight that the actual leaving day had come. Our kids and even the parents were VERY close to one another and to send them off knowing we may never see them again... Well it definitely wasn't ideal.
The boys played in the U'haul for hours just pertending to drive and enjoying their last moments!
Maybe next time they see each other they'll be old enough to really drive! ;))
Im pretty sure it'll be the hardest on the mommas.
These ladies were like sidekicks. Every time a new paint color, couch or even their trademark cheesecake was purchased they were together. Randomly on a Wednesday night they'd meet at one's house and talk for hours all because they hadn't seen each other in a few days. Something i really hope to have with my friends one day...
And their sweet dogs. Been here since day 1 and getting older and older by the minute but man do i remember some good ole times chasing them through the neighborhood or being licked to death... Just sweet things that i will always remember.
As they both shed tears of hurt that their lives were being seperated they shared one last embrace of each other before getting on their seperate paths..
Dicky and Wilson have been BFF's since day one. and they were a PAIN and a half to get a decent picture of so here's the best one... if that tells you anything at all.
And because I've shared so many memories with this sweet young lady. Despite the fact i look like i got beat up by the ugly parlor i wanted to share one last hug and a picture... She has grown OH so much since we first met her.. I remember the times i would sit in her bedroom and just let her curl my hair for HOURS and play dolls when we were almost teenagers. But we had fun and we made memories. Ones that will never be forgotten and that's all that matters.
Thank you for ALL your sweet memories and times shared with us M fam... We already miss you dearly and hope that you will come back and visit SOON!
{And im headed off at 1am for camp for a week so i will post when i get back! Have a great week!!}
