LiFe. LiBeRtY. hApPiNeSs.

Every day I am reminded of how blessed i am to live in this country where we can do and say as we please. We aren't shot for believing that Jesus Christ is God's son. We aren't beat because we worship. We don't have to do the same as every other person... i love that. And on 4th of July it all comes flooding back to me in EPIC proportions.

We live a life. we have liberty and that makes happiness. For sure!

Our 4th was pretty calm. We drove back from our weekend at the beach. We picked up the house from being gone... My sister went to the base for fireworks with a friend. The boys, my parents and I set of a bunch of smaller fireworks and ordered pizza. And we just enjoyed our time as a family... It was REALLY nice.
Before it ever got dark the boys were AMPED to do some sparklers to get our night going...

Stephen was so cute drawing pictures and waving his sparkler... when it burnt out he got pretty bummed.

He was so focused trying to discover the art of that little stick with sparks coming off..

Then he and Wilson proceeded to do some pops. Wilson of course played the role as the big brother and barely shared. BUT Stephen thought Wilson was hilarious popping them everywhere and stepping all over them. Boys. will always be boys.

Wilson wanted to do a confetti popper. He was warned he would have to pick EVERY strand up and he still was determined to. It ended up not working...

Wilson wanted to be RIGHT up in the action... As well as the dogs but thats another story..

He loved the chicken... All it did was roll around and spit sparks but it was cute.

We didn't see any HUGE fireworks in the sky so this is as good as it gets for this year...

I love this. Sweet brothers helping each other with sparklers! <3

Finally after we had done all our fireworks we did the other 5 or 6 boxes of Sparklers...

Daddy would light one for each child and we then lit the rest of ours as they burnt out..

Sweet baby love trying not to burn himself...
Little did he know he was burning the FIRE out of my toes. Thanks kid.

I was a little wrapped up in the moment playing with fire...
Stephen told me to let him play too.. that was cool until i realized that 7 year olds shouldn't think playing with fire is fun... What a great big sissy i am...
